12 Wales Street由陶克建筑事务所（Taouk Architects）设计，位于澳大利亚墨尔本诺斯卡特（Northcote）核心绿化片区，以克制的建筑语言，构建兼具私密性与雕塑感的现代家庭住宅。建筑以直线与曲线为核心形态，采用木材、石材与抹灰的简约材质组合，空间层次与质感通过细节工艺与自然采光呈现。

12 Wales Street was designed by Taouk Architects and is located in the core green area of Northcote, Melbourne, Australia. With a restrained architectural language, it constructs a modern family residence that combines privacy and sculptural beauty. The building is characterized by straight and curved forms, using a simple combination of materials such as wood, stone, and plaster. The spatial layers and textures are presented through detailed craftsmanship and natural lighting.

项目外立面采用包裹式造型与条板遮阳设计，室内雕塑化厨房中岛、一体化柜体等构件均经过精细化设计。天窗与大面积玻璃引入自然采光，光影随时间变化赋予空间动态效果。室内采用开放与私密结合的布局，兼顾公共互动与独立休憩需求，空间以舒适、静谧与温润质感为核心设计导向。

The exterior of the project adopts a wrap-around design and a strip panel shading system. The interior features sculptural kitchen islands and integrated cabinets, all of which have been meticulously designed. Skylights and large areas of glass introduce natural lighting, and the changing light and shadow give the space a dynamic effect. The interior adopts a layout that combines openness and privacy, taking into account both public interaction and individual relaxation needs. The design of the space focuses on comfort, tranquility, and a warm texture as the core guiding principle.

拱形过渡空间与内嵌壁龛弱化建筑硬朗轮廓，定制集成柜体优化空间动线与使用功能。庭院规划与视觉通廊实现室内外空间联动，延伸建筑界面至自然环境。建筑通过深挑檐、自然通风系统与适配材质，实现良好的热工性能，保障全年居住舒适度。

The arched transitional space and the embedded niches soften the harsh outline of the building, while the custom integrated cabinets optimize the spatial flow and usage functions. The courtyard planning and visual corridors achieve the linkage of indoor and outdoor spaces, extending the building interface to the natural environment. The building achieves excellent thermal performance through deep eaves, natural ventilation systems and suitable materials, ensuring a comfortable living environment throughout the year.

该住宅以极简美学为设计核心，节点、弧度与材质选择均围绕品质居住展开。设计实现美学与实用性的统一，提升日常居住体验，工艺细节贯穿空间界面与功能节点，打造兼具理性逻辑与人文温度的现代住宅。

This residence is centered around minimalist aesthetics in its design. The selection of nodes, curvatures and materials all revolve around the concept of quality living. The design achieves the unity of aesthetics and functionality, enhancing the daily living experience. The craftsmanship details run through the spatial interfaces and functional nodes, creating a modern residence that combines rational logic with humanistic warmth.
