House V.24 是一套位于比利时安特卫普的极简主义公寓，由巴特·阿美利加建筑事务所（Bart America Architect）设计完成。项目所在的建筑是一栋二十世纪初的联排住宅，此次改造涵盖了顶层的两层空间。这也是建筑师与业主在十五年后的再度合作。随着业主逐渐进入退休阶段，居住需求发生变化，设计的重点也转向更加清晰的空间结构、更好的自然采光，以及更舒适、连贯的居住体验。

House V.24 is a minimalist apartment located in Antwerp, Belgium, designed by Bart America Architect. The building where the project is situated is a row house from the early 20th century, and this renovation covers the top two floors. This is also the second collaboration between the architect and the owner after fifteen years. As the owner gradually approaches retirement, their living needs have changed, and the design focus has shifted towards a clearer spatial structure, better natural lighting, and a more comfortable and coherent living experience.

公寓位于建筑后侧，仅面向公共花园，外立面采光受限。设计师另辟蹊径，放弃平面调整转而向纵向要空间：拆除部分中间楼板，打造贯通两层的挑空起居区，使其成为公寓核心。一扇通高全景窗将自然光引入室内深处，既照亮下层公共区域，也为上层主卧补足采光。主卧与起居空间间设钢结构内窗，兼顾视觉通透与隔音，搭配可调节日式百叶帘，能自由切换开放或私密状态。

The apartment is located at the rear of the building and only faces the public garden, with limited natural light on its facade. The designer took a different approach, giving up the plan adjustment and instead seeking space vertically: removing part of the intermediate floor slabs to create a two-story high open living area, which becomes the core of the apartment. A full-height panoramic window brings natural light deep into the interior, illuminating the lower public area and supplementing the light for the master bedroom on the upper floor. A steel structure internal window is set between the master bedroom and the living space, providing both visual transparency and sound insulation. It is paired with adjustable Japanese-style blinds, allowing for a free switch between open and private states.

这种垂直改造思路，为老建筑深进深公寓的更新开辟了全新路径。室内家具与材料统一规划，起居区定制沙发由比利时设计师打造，艺术家作品为挑空空间锚定视觉焦点。相邻阅读区巧用天花高度、材质变化界定空间，营造出静谧放松的氛围。整体设计摒弃繁复装饰，以精准的空间调整，让老建筑焕发持久从容的魅力。

This vertical renovation approach has opened up a brand-new path for the renewal of deep apartments in old buildings. The interior furniture and materials are uniformly planned. The custom sofas in the living area are crafted by a Belgian designer. The artworks serve as the visual focal point for the open space. The adjacent reading area ingeniously uses the height and material changes of the ceiling to define the space, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The overall design eschews elaborate decorations and achieves a lasting and calm charm of the old building through precise spatial adjustments.
