坐落于葡萄牙吉马良斯的 AREN HOUSE，是一座以混凝土与木材相互对话为核心语言的当代住宅。建筑以一系列平缓、水平展开的体量组织空间，使室内外形成连贯而开放的过渡，让自然光线成为主导性的场域构成因素。内部以木质表面引入温润与深度，在混凝土的原始质感之间建立细腻的平衡，营造克制而亲密的居住氛围。居中的混凝土楼梯作为关键构造和视觉焦点，引导动线通往屋顶露台，并成为塑造整体空间叙事的重要构件。设计中一处圆形开口框景单株树木，将其提升为象征性的精神元素，强化住宅的静谧气质。通过精心设置的开窗方式与材料转折，建筑在行进路径中不断提供感知层面的变化，使居者在日常动线中自然生成停驻与思考的节奏。

AREN HOUSE, located in Guimaraes, Portugal, is a contemporary residence that uses concrete and wood in a dialogue as its core language. The building organizes space through a series of gentle, horizontally arranged volumes, creating a seamless and open transition between indoors and outdoors, and allowing natural light to be the dominant element of the space. The interior introduces warmth and depth through wooden surfaces, establishing a delicate balance between the original texture of concrete and creating a restrained and intimate living atmosphere. The central concrete staircase serves as the key structure and visual focal point, guiding the movement to the rooftop terrace and becoming an important component in shaping the overall spatial narrative. A circular opening in the design frames a single tree, elevating it to a symbolic spiritual element, reinforcing the residences serene quality. Through carefully arranged window openings and material transitions, the building continuously provides perceptual changes along the path, allowing residents to naturally generate pauses and contemplation during their daily movements.

VAAL HOUSE位于葡萄牙Gerês，是一处传统乡村住宅的精心改造项目，占地328平方米。项目旨在将住宅与自然林地环境融为一体，营造宁静而舒缓的居住氛围。建筑以简洁的屋顶形式为特征，选用质朴而富有质感的材料，如原石与木材，色调呼应自然景观。宽敞的开口使室内与外部环境无缝连接，自然光线轻柔地洒入室内，同时框定周围树木的景致。室内设计延续自然质感，温暖的木质饰面与石材纹理交织，塑造出沉静且平衡的空间氛围。中央的螺旋木质楼梯成为客厅核心，不仅引导空间流动，也赋予整体空间精致的艺术感。布局以自然有机的方式展开，各功能区相互呼应，为居住者提供休憩、沉思与亲近自然的场所。在VAAL HOUSE中，传统与现代并置，历史记忆与当代生活在空间中实现细腻对话。

VAAL HOUSE is located in Gerês, Portugal. It is a meticulously renovated project of a traditional rural residence, covering an area of 328 square meters. The project aims to integrate the residence with the natural forest environment, creating a peaceful and soothing living atmosphere. The building features a simple roof form and uses plain yet textured materials such as raw stones and wood, with colors that echo the natural landscape. The spacious openings allow the interior to seamlessly connect with the external environment, allowing soft natural light to enter the room while framing the surrounding trees. The interior design continues the natural texture, with warm wooden finishes and stone textures interwoven, creating a calm and balanced spatial atmosphere. The central spiral wooden staircase becomes the core of the living room, not only guiding the flow of space but also giving the overall space a refined artistic touch. The layout unfolds in a natural and organic way, with each functional area echoing each other, providing a place for relaxation, contemplation, and connection with nature for the occupants. In VAAL HOUSE, tradition and modernity coexist, and historical memory and contemporary life achieve a delicate dialogue in the space.
