This one-bedroom residence located in the Porta Venezia area of Milan, as described by ElleDecor, is a mysterious abode that blends historical weight with personal taste. This house was jointly created by two creative people, namely Xavier Fora Soriano (born in Barcelona and serving as the design director of Versace Haute couture in Milan) and Vincent-Emmanuel Rouxel (a French interior and jewelry designer).

住宅坐落在十九世纪末或二十世纪初建成的折中主义／新艺术风格（eclectic / Liberty style）公寓楼中，其建筑外观由石材、铁艺、装饰浮雕等元素构成，呼应了 Porta Venezia 区内典型的新艺术建筑语言。

The residence is located in an eclectic/Liberty style apartment building built at the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th century. Its architectural exterior is composed of elements such as stone, ironwork, and decorative reliefs, echoing the typical Art Nouveau architectural language in the Porta Venezia area.

进入室内，空间保留了原始的古典细节：木质拱门、原色镶嵌地砖（seminato）、微吱作响的原木地板、以及颇具年代感的门框线条，都让人感受到岁月的沉淀。 业主二人对居住氛围十分重视，他们用 “collage of life（人生拼贴）” 来形容这一空间：在这个家里，他们将巴黎、巴塞罗那、世界各地的物件汇聚一堂。

Entering the interior, the space retains the original classical details: wooden arches, seminato tiles in their original colors, the creaking original wooden floor, and the door frame lines with a strong sense of age, all of which make people feel the accumulation of time. -nbsp; The two homeowners attach great importance to the living atmosphere. They describe this space as collage of life : in this home, they have gathered objects from Paris, Barcelona and all over the world together.

It is particularly worth mentioning Xaviers creation of the walls: he painted on them symbolic patterns of women in the style of the 1920s, flying birds, and a fantastical, symbolic narrative sense, integrating the bathroom with other areas into an extremely artistic allegorical landscape. The kitchen has also undergone a clever transformation: Xavier painted climbing monkeys and swirling saucer-shaped trays on the kitchen walls, creating a charming tension between everyday functionality and imagination.

Vincent-Emmanuel 则展现了他作为收藏家的审美。他从法国、意大利、东方等地收集雕像、古典松石、木质雕刻、复古家具等珍品。他偏爱未经修饰、带着岁月痕迹的古物，正是这种不完美与瑕疵，赋予了空间复杂性与戏剧性。

Vincent Emmanuel, on the other hand, demonstrated his aesthetic sense as a collector. He collected treasures such as statues, classical turquoise, wood carvings and vintage furniture from France, Italy, the East and other places. He prefers unadorned antiques that bear the marks of time. It is precisely this imperfection and flaw that endow the space with complexity and drama.

两人的共同理念，是将各自过去的记忆、旅行经验和审美喜好，在这个米兰公寓里汇聚成一种富有张力却又艺术化的生活方式。这处住宅既是私人庇护所，更像一座「当代奇珍柜（cabinet de curiosités）」，在日常里体现出他们对历史、文化、艺术与设计的深切热爱。

The shared philosophy of the two is to converge their past memories, travel experiences and aesthetic preferences into a dynamic yet artistic lifestyle in this Milanese apartment. This residence is not only a private sanctuary but also more like a cabinet de curiosites, reflecting their deep love for history, culture, art and design in daily life.
