KUDDOs first official store was planned and completed in 2020, starting from the most difficult situation and growing during the most challenging period. More than five years have passed. Looking back at this store, it still remains at its peak. As the starting point of Xiao.ou office ultimate skill, let s go back five years and take another look at this store. How did you think about design at that time......

晓欧设计认为，做设计，差异化很重要。幸运的是，这次业主克凡夫妇给了设计团队一个自由发挥的机会。

We weight difference more than many things in design. Luckily enough, the lovely Zhang couple are in line with us,offering their utmost support to us to be creative.

在这样一个繁华又忙碌的城市，找到一个悠闲自由的地方是不太容易的。可以坐在窗前看着日起日落，看着微风中摇曳的狗尾巴草，喝着咖啡，带着宠物度过一个慵懒的下午......选择蛇口这个创意园也是这个原因。

To find a slow-paced place in such a metropolitan like Shenzhen isn’t an easy thing, we chose Shekou as a first option for its relative freedom and then located in the creative park, detouring the city’s hustle and bustle. It provides not only a stop to drink coffee, buta wonderful spot to see the sunrise and sunset, see sage grass swaying in softwind and rest with your beloved pet.

长期以来，我们不仅聚焦设计语言和设计手法本身，也在更多思考消费者场景，为他们创造更好的消费记忆画面，同时也希望弱化空间里设计的存在感，更多体现空间与人的融合感，赋予空间自由理解的艺术性。

Professional designing method is surely one of our major concern, while we have longly figuring how to build a wonderful experience for customers. Out of this need, we prioritized the confusion of thesphere and people, hoping who’s in here can feel comfortable and free rather than build this place as a delicate but cold design product.

所以在吧台手冲位的距离，室内卡座位的舒适度，户外场景和室内的融合性，以及空间的灵活利用度上面，我们都做了大量的思考。

We put much effort in the bar spacing,indoor card seats, outdoor view and mobility of the windows, make sure they arevisually pleasing and convenient in use.

这次的选址原本是一个破旧的玻璃厂，改造它有比较强的文创属性。

The place was originally an abandoned glass factory, redesigning it is a cultural and creative work.

原有的长方体空间，我们拆除了原有墙体，重塑立面，做一个新的“绿盒子”。正立面采用大面积折叠窗，室内室外可以通过开关窗的不同状态达到内外交错的效果，模糊空间分割，创造“屋内人屋外景”的交流感。深圳有台风以及夏季高温时，折叠玻璃也可以将室内外分区，达到功能上的灵活性。

We tore down the old walls and rebuilt the elevation into a brand new ‘green box’. Large folding windows were adopted forthe front elevation, which can introduce the out view into indoors and even thesoft breeze when full opening, which can also keep out typhoon or hightemperature in summer when closed.

同时，为了较好的控制施工预算，我们选择将普通材料（镀锌板和多层板）根据不同用途进行处理。

Meantime, we chose galvanized platemultilayer board as basic materials while did material processing to elevatethe quality, succeeded in both construction effect and budget control.

比如生产镀锌板的时候，控制好电解工艺，使得镀锌板冰花纹小，密集，且均匀。多层板表面压合了一层树脂复合材料（这个材料也是特地研发出来的）使得多层板道具特别的同时，抗指纹，耐用。

For example, the galvanized plates were made more dense and uniformed in thickness during the electrolysis process, andmultilayer boards were press fit with resin composite to be moreanti-fingerprint and durable.

设计手法上，我们使用了材料阴阳面（奶明黄和牛油果绿），带来一种更丰富的感官体验。

The building boards were also coloredtwo-sidedly, creamy yellow and avocado green, bringing a different feeling whenseeing from each side.

在颜色、建筑造型以及比例方面，不难看出有致敬经典的意味——包豪斯的影子。颜色上运用牛油果绿、原木、奶明黄结合的配色，复古清新，正门大胆运用红色，与绿色对撞，打造减压、放松、清新的主题，逃离喧嚣，让情感得到更好的释放。

It isn’t hard to find that there are somany tributes to the classic Bauhaus style such as color, architecturalmodeling and proportion. Avocado green, wood and creamy yellow as the maincolors, colliding with the red door , we’d like to shape a balanced retro andrefreshing tone and convey a message of short relief from daily hustle andbustle.
