The Minimalist Club Project 位于美国罗德岛的 Aquidneck Club，是一个涵盖室内设计、翻修与软装布置的综合性项目。该项目旨在为一对来自波士顿的专业人士夫妇打造一个静谧私密的乡村俱乐部度假住所。这对夫妇自大学时期相识，过去二十余年每年夏天都会在俱乐部度过周末，对这一场所怀有深厚的情感。

The Minimalist Club Project is located at Aquidneck Club in Rhode Island, the United States. It is a comprehensive project covering interior design, renovation and soft furnishing arrangement. This project aims to create a quiet and private country club vacation residence for a professional couple from Boston. The couple have known each other since college. For more than twenty years, they have spent weekends at the club every summer and have deep feelings for this place.

项目所在地的 Aquidneck Club 外立面延续了典型的新英格兰柚木瓦片建筑风格，展现出鲜明的地域特征。然而，其室内空间却因多次年代久远、工艺粗糙的翻新而显得陈旧不堪。尤其是在1990年代末至2000年代初的改造中，普遍使用了廉价材料，缺乏统一性与美感，使空间整体显得杂乱无章。因此，设计团队面临的核心挑战不仅在于重建空间的质感与精神性，更要在空间语言中忠实表达居住者的极简主义美学理念。

The exterior facade of Aquidneck Club, where the project is located, continues the typical New England teak tiled architectural style, presenting distinct regional characteristics. However, its interior space appears dilapidated due to multiple renovations that are old and poorly crafted. Especially during the renovation from the late 1990s to the early 2000s, cheap materials were widely used, lacking uniformity and aesthetic appeal, which made the overall space appear chaotic. Therefore, the core challenge faced by the design team lies not only in reconstructing the texture and spirituality of the space, but also in faithfully expressing the minimalist aesthetic concept of the occupants in the spatial language.

这对居住者偏好“极简主义至上”（Hyper Minimalism）的生活方式，强调干净利落的表面处理与视觉上的极致秩序。因此，设计师在色彩、材质与肌理的选择上极度克制，以“少即是多”为设计核心。为了避免空间陷入冷感与空洞的氛围，设计团队特别挑选了古董灯具、舒适的软装家具，以及具象性强、富有情感张力的艺术作品，在极简语境中引入节奏感与人文温度。

This pair of residents prefer a "Hyper Minimalism" lifestyle, emphasizing clean and neat surface treatment and ultimate visual order. Therefore, the designer is extremely restrained in the selection of color, material and texture, taking "less is more" as the core of the design. To avoid the space falling into a cold and empty atmosphere, the design team specially selected Vintage Lighting fixtures, comfortable soft furnishings and furniture, as well as Unique Forms of Art with strong concretization and emotional tension, introducing a sense of rhythm and humanistic warmth in the minimalist context.

本次改造涵盖结构层面的重构、表面材料的重新定义，以及量身定制家具的全面布置，体现了设计团队对极简主义与居住舒适性之间微妙平衡的深刻理解。最终成果不仅回应了客户对美学与功能的多重追求，也以当代语言延续并重塑了俱乐部的历史文脉，使这一空间成为一个跨越代际、兼具情感与当代表达的私人居所。

This renovation encompasses a structural reconstruction, a redefinition of surface materials, and a comprehensive arrangement of custom-made furniture, demonstrating the design teams profound understanding of the delicate balance between minimalism and living comfort. The final outcome not only responds to the clients multiple pursuits of aesthetics and functionality, but also continues and reshapes the clubs historical context in contemporary language, making this space a private residence that transcends generations and combines emotional and contemporary expression.
