MB Residence is located in Ixelles, Belgium. It is a residential work that ingeniously combines modern and classic aesthetics and was led in the design by interior architect Jim Dierck. The entire residence takes the arched porch as its core design language, running through all Spaces, emphasizing the fluidity and continuity between the building structure and the space, and creating a symbolic visual order.

进入住宅，首先映入眼帘的是白色拱形门廊，不仅确立了空间优雅的基调，也承担着过渡与引导的功能。内嵌壁橱与嵌入式灯带巧妙结合，兼顾实用与美观，同时为空间引入柔和光影，与墙面艺术品相互呼应，营造出沉静而富有格调的空间氛围。

Upon entering the residence, the first thing that catches the eye is the white arched porch, which not only sets an elegant tone for the space but also serves as a transitional and guiding function. The built-in closet and the recessed light strips are ingeniously combined, taking into account both practicality and aesthetics. At the same time, they introduce soft light and shadow into the space, which echoes with the wall artworks, creating a quiet and stylish spatial atmosphere.

客厅和餐厅延续这一设计思路，开放式布局配合大面积窗户，引入自然光线，提升整体明亮度。家具配置方面，迪尔克（Dierck）选用线条简约但材质考究的沙发、茶几与木质构件，在现代感中融入温润的经典气息。吊灯和艺术画作点缀其中，强化了空间的艺术性。

The living room and dining room follow this design concept. The open layout, combined with large Windows, brings in natural light and enhances the overall brightness. In terms of furniture configuration, Dierck selects sofas, coffee tables and wooden components with simple lines but high-quality materials, integrating a warm and classic atmosphere into a modern feel. Chandeliers and artistic paintings are dotted throughout, enhancing the artistry of the space.

厨房与餐区采用灰白主色调，中央岛台以大理石与木质结合，既是操作台也是休闲用餐区。橱柜系统将所有电器有机整合，保持视觉整洁。照明设计注重层次变化，局部重点突出而不过度渲染。营造出内敛、富有节奏的氛围。

The kitchen and dining area adopt a main color scheme of gray and white. The central island counter combines marble and wood, serving both as an operation counter and a leisure dining area. The cabinet system organically integrates all the appliances, maintaining a neat visual appearance. The lighting design emphasizes the variation of layers, highlighting local key points without excessive embellishment. Create an atmosphere that is reserved and rhythmic.

走廊与楼梯区域在结构处理上延续了拱形语言，搭配自然光与简洁材质，营造出具有节奏感与细腻感的垂直动线体验。楼梯采用木质踏步和白色扶手，展现出温暖且平衡的空间氛围，同时呼应整体的设计语言。

The corridor and staircase areas continue the arched language in structural treatment, combined with natural light and simple materials, creating a vertical circulation experience with a sense of rhythm and delicacy. The staircase features wooden steps and white handrails, creating a warm and balanced spatial atmosphere while echoing the overall design language.

吉姆·迪尔克（Jim Dierck）巧妙地运用拱形结构、材质肌理与光线的变化，将传统意象与现代功能融为一体，赋予MB Residence独特而富有层次的当代住宅美学。

Jim Dierck ingeniously employs arched structures, material textures and changes in light to integrate traditional imagery with modern functions, endowing MB Residence with a unique and layered contemporary residential aesthetic.
