CBD 的核心腹地,一座建筑安静地矗立在时间的交汇处。金桐拾贰——不只是地理坐标,更是一个文化坐标。在这里,故宫的飞檐与国贸的玻璃幕墙在视线中相遇,传统与现代达成默契的平衡。“我们以此为起点,希望呈现的是一种气质,这种气质延续了千年。提取传统建筑上的‘屋脊兽’元素,转译其精神意象,让古老符号在现代的框架下当下获得新生。”
At the very heart of the CBD, a building stands quietly at the intersection of time. Jintong Twelve is not merely a geographical coordinate, but a cultural one. Here, the upturned eaves of the Forbidden City meet the glass curtain walls of the China World Trade Center, where tradition and modernity arrive at a tacit equilibrium. “We take this as our point of departure, hoping to present a certain temperament—one that has endured for thousands of years. By extracting the motif of the roof-ridge beasts from traditional architecture and translating their spiritual imagery, we allow these ancient symbols to gain new life within a contemporary framework.”

Guardianship and the Order of Time
入口处,一件青石吸水兽静置于金属台座之上。源于传统皇室园林的灵感,跨越千年的艺术性:这尊雕塑超越了装饰性,它的存在建立了一种空间仪式感——从喧闹都市步入宁静私域的过渡。
At the entrance, a bluestone water-absorbing beast rests quietly upon a metal pedestal. Inspired by traditional imperial gardens, it carries an artistic lineage spanning millennia. This sculpture transcends ornamentation; its presence establishes a spatial ritual—a transition from the noisy city into a tranquil private realm.

The rugged texture of natural stone forms a subtle dialogue with the luster of gold leaf, giving traditional symbols of protection a contemporary material expression. A Vessel of Light
开敞的横厅成为光的剧场。手工敲打的黄铜茶几以不规则弧形回应着屋脊的流动线条。材质在反复锻打中获得的独特肌理,成为空间的时间印记。
The open-plan living room becomes a theater of light. A hand-hammered brass coffee table, shaped in irregular curves, echoes the flowing lines of traditional roof ridges. 餐厅顶部,云石片与金属构件组成的吊灯装置如同悬浮的雕塑。每一片云石的天然纹理都是唯一的,它们在精确计算的高低起伏中形成视觉韵律。这件装置从餐桌延伸至客厅,在空间中划出柔和的动线,将不同功能区编织成连贯的整体。
Above the dining area, a lighting installation composed of marble slices and metal components appears as a floating sculpture. Each piece of marble bears a unique natural veining, and through precisely calculated variations in height, they form a visual rhythm. Extending from the dining table into the living room, the installation traces a gentle path through the space, weaving different functional zones into a continuous whole.

As the sliding doors open, the study reveals itself as a semi-open space of curated collections. Every object here possesses the quality of an exhibit. Through the careful control of materials and light, the master bedroom cultivates a serene, meditative atmosphere. At the entrance, a console table with fluid contours breaks the rectilinear logic of the space. Its velvet surface captures subtle shifts of light, functioning both as furniture and as an independent sculptural piece.

The guest bedroom redefines spatial rhythm through a curved, screen-like headboard. The texture of the upholstered surface creates nuanced light and shadow across the curve, forming a gentle visual buffer. This arc not only resolves the issue of direct sightlines from the entrance, but also shapes an enveloping sense of refuge. The palette of coffee brown and reddish-brown is calm and profound, while the patterns of the throw and rug echo one another to establish visual continuity.

The soft furnishing design of Jintong Twelve is an exploration of temporality. Rather than imitating tradition, we seek its contemporary expression. Roof-ridge beasts are transformed from architectural components into a design language, evolving from figurative symbols into spiritual imagery. Within this space, every object is an imprint of multiple time layers—Qing-dynasty wood carvings, vintage pieces, and contemporary designs coexist in dialogue.
最终,空间本身成为了一件大型装置艺术,它不试图讲述单一的故事,而是提供丰富的解读可能。在这里,居住者不仅是空间的使用者,更是意义的共同创造者。历史在当代的框架中重新显影,传统在现代的语境中获得新生——这或许就是东方美学在全球化时代的独特表达方式。
Ultimately, the space itself becomes a large-scale installation artwork. It does not attempt to tell a single story, but instead offers rich possibilities for interpretation. Here, residents are not merely users of space, but co-creators of meaning.
