In Guadalajara, JDEstudio and Aagnes merged their craftsmanship, material sensitivity, and contemplative philosophy into Casa CO, sparking a dialogue between light, matter, and time. Known for precision in architecture and detail in interiors, they created a livable yet reflective space. Nestled in a lush garden, morning light plays on travertine, vegetation softens sunlight, and a pool mirrors the sky. As day turns, the terrace blends with the garden, shadows dance on dark shou sugi ban walls, contrasting with warm woods. Traditional Mexican and contemporary art converse, linking past and present in cultural continuity.

JDEstudios design is defined by a layering of natural materials, applied with precision and restraint. Travertine, Tundra Gray marble, and wood are used throughout, creating a unified palette that harmonizes with the play of light and shadow. These surfaces are not decorative but natural elements, unique and harmonious, evoking a contemplative tranquility.

Within this framework, Aagnes created interiors that balance brightness, tranquility, and privacy. The double-height glass and steel living room dissolves the boundary between interior and landscape, creating a retreat between light and shade.
