Penthouse B Apartment is located on the top floor of Olympia DUMBO in Brooklyn, New York. It ingeniously combines minimalism with a sculptural sense of space, presenting a unique temperament that is both calm and livable. The building was led by Hill West, while the design of the interior and supporting Spaces was completed by the renowned design firm Workstead. As a team adept at striking a balance between industrial texture and home warmth, Wexsted here uses restrained yet precise material language to not only respond to the historical memory of manufacturing in the DUMBO district but also offer a forward-looking interpretation of its future residential potential.

Penthouse B occupies the entire 32nd floor, with an indoor area of 4,928 square feet. The spatial scale here is not merely a quantification of luxury, but more like a redefinition of the contemporary urban lifestyle. Its 552-square-foot private terrace is described as an aerial living room, extending the boundaries of comfort for residents and suggesting that in high-density urban environments, outdoor Spaces are becoming the scarcest and most precious resource.

奥林匹亚 DUMBO 的价值并不止于顶层住宅的尺度感，更体现在整体规划的 38,000 平方英尺公共设施中。这些共享空间如同对“集体生活”理念的宣言：设于高空的网球场，以布鲁克林大桥为背景，将运动体验转化为一场城市剧场；沉船主题的儿童乐园与私人水上乐园，则折射出设计团队对当代家庭需求的敏锐洞察——人们追求精致生活，渴望乐趣与探索。

The value of Olympia DUMBO is not only reflected in the sense of scale of the penthouse, but also in the 38,000 square feet of public facilities planned as a whole. These shared Spaces are like a declaration of the concept of collective living : tennis courts set high up in the air, with the Brooklyn Bridge as the backdrop, transform the sports experience into an urban theater. The childrens park and private water park with the theme of sunken ships reflect the design teams acute insight into the needs of contemporary families - people pursue a refined life and long for fun and exploration.

在健康与社交层面，建筑配备了室内外泳池、健身教室与桑拿区，凸显出住宅设计正在从单纯的私人奢华转向更具共享性的生活体验。与曼哈顿普遍盛行的大理石与黄铜语汇相比，沃克斯特德更倾向于回应布鲁克林的“制造者传统”：强调材料的结构属性，注重时间赋予的肌理变化，并通过光影的层次营造在工业遗产与家庭舒适之间的平衡。由此，Penthouse B 不只是顶层豪宅的空间展示，更是一种面向未来都市生活的实验性表达。

In terms of health and social aspects, the building is equipped with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness classrooms and sauna areas, highlighting that residential design is shifting from simple private luxury to a more shared living experience. Compared with the marble and brass vocabulary that is prevalent in Manhattan, Wexsted is more inclined to respond to Brooklyns maker tradition : emphasizing the structural attributes of materials, paying attention to the texture changes bestowed by time, and creating a balance between industrial heritage and family comfort through the layers of light and shadow. Thus, Penthouse B is not merely a spatial display of a top-floor luxury residence, but rather an experimental expression oriented towards future urban life.
