The Cambium is located in the center of the Monning Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. It is an ideal vacation destination specially designed for modern professionals seeking to readjust and rejuvenate. Designed by the renowned Melbourne architecture and interior design firm Carr, the project was renovated in just 12 months, transforming into a modern retreat space that integrates deep thinking, collaboration and regeneration.

Sally Marasco 与其丈夫 Damien 联手打造了The Cambium。作为一位拥有多年会议与商业战略经验的专业人士，Sally 深知传统会议场所的局限。因此，她以“空间塑造体验”为核心理念，打造出一个富有自然灵感又具有功能性的综合性场地。

Sally Marasco and her husband Damien jointly created The Cambium. As a professional with many years of experience in conferences and business strategies, Sally is well aware of the limitations of traditional conference venues. Therefore, with the core concept of space shaping experience, she has created a comprehensive venue that is both inspired by nature and functional.

该项目坐落于66英亩的丛林保护区中，包含11间面向自然景观的私人住宿、可容纳25人的公共餐厅与专业厨房、正式会议室、多功能工作室及静谧的休闲阁楼等。其中，The Stables 作为主要商务中心，旨在提供一个激发创造力与团队合作的环境。

This project is located in a 66-acre jungle reserve and includes 11 private accommodations with natural views, a public dining hall and professional kitchen that can accommodate 25 people, formal meeting rooms, multi-functional studios and quiet leisure lofts, etc. Among them, The Stables, as the main business center, aims to provide an environment that stimulates creativity and teamwork.

在设计方面，Carr 事务所保留了原有建筑的质朴感，强调木材、砖块与玻璃的天然质感。空间布局有意去除多余装饰，营造出简洁而专注的氛围，让访客得以在自然中放松心灵、恢复活力。

In terms of design, Carr Firm retained the rusticity of the original building and emphasized the natural texture of wood, bricks and glass. The spatial layout deliberately eliminates superfluous decorations to create a simple and focused atmosphere, allowing visitors to relax their minds and regain vitality in nature.

此外，The Cambium 也展现出对可持续设计的执着：翻新过程中尽可能保留原有材料，并将旧木材再利用制作家具。正因如此，自2022年底开业以来，The Cambium 广受欢迎，成为新工作模式下人们寻求连接与恢复的理想场所。

Furthermore, The Cambium also demonstrates its dedication to sustainable design: during the renovation process, it retains the original materials as much as possible and reuses the old wood to make furniture. Because of this, since its opening at The end of 2022, The Cambium has been widely popular and has become an ideal place for people to seek connection and recovery under the new working mode.

The Cambium is an advocacy of a lifestyle - it reminds us that in a rapidly changing world, only by returning to nature and authenticity can we regain new energy and inspiration.
